Bobara (cave, wall)
Just off the coastline of the picturesque town Cavtat, south of Dubrovnik, lie two small islands in the Adriatic Sea. Bobara is around 2 nautical miles from Cavtat and a very popular scuba diving site. Your diving adventure starts in the shallow waters with depths of between 3 and 5 metres and continues to an underwater passage with a magnificent cave. The cave is at a depth of only 15 metres and is, therefore, ideal for all diving levels and up to five divers can enter the cave at a time. On the outer side of the island towards the open sea the depth drops rapidly reaching up to 80 metres and a crag juts out into the abyss. The crag, cave and the underwater wall form the perfect home for sea bream, octopus, sea perches, moray eels and an abundance of marine fauna.
