Instructor Development Preaparation

This preparation course gives you a head start on your IDC. Together with the Course Director you will refresh some practical and theoretical skills acquired during your Divemaster training and also get a taste of what to expect during your Instructor Development Course (IDC).

What's involved?

It allows you to practice the theory and practical skills required for the IDC in an informal, relaxed environment. It gives you the chance to improve your water skills to the demonstration quality required (even full time Divemasters need to ensure they are performing the skills according to PADI Standards). It also covers the theoretical part, which is required for 5 exams and the introduction to teaching in the classroom.

How can I benefit from this qualification?

To help you prepare for the IDC. Although this course is not a prerequisite for the IDC, our former students benefited greatly from participating in the IDC Preparation Course.
