Travel Tips

Dubrovnik has a wealth of possibilities for guests. From the medieval walled city and all the treasures it holds, to a lively and funky nightlife. If it’s a tranquil spot in the sun you’re after or dancing the night away in a nightclub, Dubrovnik has it all. Here are just a few of our recommendations:

Dubrovnik Cable Car – whisk up to the Srđ Mountain overlooking the Old City of Dubrovnik and marvel at the 360º panoramic views. In just three minutes the cable car will take you over 400 metres above the city and you’ll have the opportunity to make memorable photos.

Lokrum Island – Dubrovnik’s green oasis, the Lokrum island is a sanctuary of peace and natural beauty. A short ferry ride from the old city harbour and you’ll find yourself in pine forests and Mediterranean flora and fauna.

Walk the walls – encompassing the entire historic core of Dubrovnik the world famous city walls stretch for 1.9 kilometres. Best not to try this walk in the middle of the day in the summer months as there is very little shade. You’ll get views over the terracotta roofs of the Old City as well as down to the crystal clear Adriatic Sea - the sight is simply breathtaking. The Dubrovnik City Walls are the number one attraction in Croatia and a “must do.”

Visit Mljet – a national park and an island on an island. The nature on this typical Adriatic island is stunning. Catch a ferry from the port of Dubrovnik and in an hour you’ll be in a world where the time has stopped. Spend a day on the island of Mljet and forget the hustle and bustle of modern day life.

Dubrovnik, it’s not just a diving center!
